Police Services incorporates the active response to emergencies within the community, the investigation of crime, the training and/or awareness necessary to prevent crime, and the coordination of all city services during a major emergency incident or disaster.

Hutchinson Police Services’ staff are committed to
serving the residents of Hutchinson with pride, professionalism and compassion.  We employ 25 sworn officers comprised of Patrol, Investigations and Emergency Management along with 16 support staff comprised of Administrative, and Hospital Security personnel.  We are a little unique in that we provide security services to our local hospital, Hutchinson Health.

We do not take your support for granted and appreciate the opportunity to serve you.  It is my desire that we find ways to partner with you to solve any problems that may arise. Your safety continues to be our number one priority.  We continue to be proactive in our enforcement efforts to keep Hutchinson a safe community in which to live and work.
